Songwriting and recording workshops focus on providing people with any level of disability the opportunity to feel empowered by engaging with and contributing to a creative process. The workshops focus on the craft of writing a song, including structure and melody, whilst involving the clients in the process of forming ideas and lyrics based on their own imagination and experiences. The song is then recorded on a computer using music recording software. The clients involvement in the recording is tailored to their abilities and may involve singing and/or playing instruments.
